All photographs created by Morgan Foster Photography remain the intellectual property and copyright of the photographer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This includes original photographs, edited images, digital files, prints and other photographic material produced by Morgan Foster Photography.
Photographs may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold or used commercially without the appropriate permission or licence.
Once the client's photography package or photographs have been paid for in full, the client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the supplied photographs for personal purposes.
Personal use includes:
Copyright ownership remains with Morgan Foster Photography unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Clients may not sell, commercially reproduce or substantially alter the photographs without prior written permission.
Wedding clients are welcome to share their photographs with family and friends and on their personal social media accounts.
Where practical, clients are encouraged to credit Morgan Foster Photography when sharing photographs online.
Wedding photographs may not be used for commercial advertising, business promotion, publication or third-party commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Photographs supplied from newborn, family and christening sessions may be used by the client for personal purposes.
This includes personal printing, sharing with family and friends and posting on personal social media.
Photographs may not be sold, commercially reproduced, altered substantially or supplied to businesses or other organisations for promotional purposes without written permission.
Corporate and business clients may receive commercial usage rights as part of their selected photography package.
Where commercial usage rights are included, photographs may be used for agreed business purposes, including:
Unless specifically agreed in writing, copyright ownership remains with Morgan Foster Photography.
Extended commercial licensing, exclusive usage rights or copyright transfer can be arranged separately and may incur an additional charge.
Morgan Foster Photography may wish to use photographs from commissioned work for its website, portfolio, social media, advertising and promotional material.
For private photography such as weddings, newborn sessions and christenings, client permission will be requested before photographs are used publicly.
Clients can request that their photographs are not used for promotional purposes.
For corporate and commercial photography, usage will be discussed with the client as part of the booking agreement.
Photographs displayed on the Morgan Foster Photography website, social media or online galleries may contain a watermark or copyright notice.
Images displayed online may be reduced in resolution to help protect the photographer's work.
Where an online client gallery is provided, high-resolution downloads may be restricted until the relevant package or photographs have been paid for in full.
Morgan Foster Photography retains creative control over the editing and presentation of photographs.
Clients may not apply filters, significantly alter, manipulate or otherwise modify photographs without permission.
Minor cropping or resizing for personal social media use is acceptable.
If a photograph created by Morgan Foster Photography is copied, reproduced or used without the appropriate permission, the photographer may request that the photograph is removed.
Where appropriate, Morgan Foster Photography reserves the right to seek payment or compensation for unauthorised use.
All photographs displayed on the Morgan Foster Photography website and associated platforms are protected by copyright.
